Dark Tower Radio is the Stephen King podcast for all things that serve the Beam. Join our Ka-Tet as we explore and discuss Stephen King's Dark Tower Series and the many worlds of the Stephen King Universe. Everything from news, books, comics, to the tv/film adaptations no level of the Tower is off limits to these gunslingers. For those who have not read the Dark Tower series or who may be on the journey for the first time please be wary of spoilers. Long days and pleasant nights.

Due to scheduling conflicts, the Ka-Tet of Dark Tower Radio was unable to come together for one more episode this month. So we reached out to our extended Ka-Tet to bring you one more palaver this month. Jeremy is joined by Stephen King/Dark Tower blogger Leah from over at NerdGirlPower(dot)wordpress(dot)com to talk all things Dark Tower/Stephen King universe. We dive into her history with King's work as well as discuss the upcoming projects with the Dark Tower and IT.

The guys are back, and this time their sharing a dogan. Jeremy, Vince and Shaun cover the latest Dark Tower news, including new promo photos and why McConaughey choose the Tower over Marvel Cinematic Universe. We also dive into some discussion on the upcoming film adaptation of "IT" with the release of a new image of Pennywise. Then the palaver begins as we go back and revisit Rob Reiner's 1986 adaptation of King's coming of age story "Stand by Me" and we compare it to the source material; the short story "The Body". Our memories of the film and why its held in such high regard. After reading Sai King's story, how well did Reiner honor the source material? How well does "Stand by Me" hold up after all these years? How does it connect to the Stephen King universe? Find out our thoughts and opinions in this jam packed episode.
